Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
First Russian School provides educational services for children in accordance with the school's curriculum and programmes. By enrolling a child, parents or legal guardians agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Enrolment
Enrolment is completed upon submission of the registration form and confirmation of a place in the appropriate group.
The school reserves the right to recommend a different group based on the child's age, language level and educational needs.
3. Fees and Payments
Tuition fees must be paid in advance according to the selected package or academic term.
A child's place is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
The school reserves the right to revise fees. Parents will be given at least one month's notice of any changes.
4. Absence and Missed Lessons
Fees for missed lessons due to illness, holidays or personal circumstances are non-refundable.
At the school's discretion, alternative arrangements or make-up opportunities may be offered in certain circumstances.
If a lesson is cancelled by the school, a replacement lesson, rescheduling or another form of compensation will be provided.
5. Attendance
Parents are responsible for ensuring that children arrive and are collected on time.
The school is responsible for children only during the scheduled lesson and activity times.
6. Behaviour and Respect
Students, parents and staff are expected to maintain a respectful, positive and supportive environment.
The school reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrolment if a student's behaviour seriously disrupts lessons or compromises the safety and wellbeing of others.
7. Health and Safety
Parents must inform the school of any medical conditions, allergies or special requirements that may affect their child's participation.
Children displaying symptoms of a contagious illness may be asked to remain at home until they have fully recovered.
8. Photography and Video Recording
Photographs and videos may be taken during lessons and school events.
Such materials may be used on the school's website, social media channels and promotional materials only with parental consent.
9. Data Protection
First Russian School processes personal information in accordance with UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR.
Personal data is collected and used solely for educational, administrative and communication purposes.
10. Amendments
First Russian School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the school's website.
